Markus Mars is an electric violinist, live composer, and multidisciplinary sound artist creating immersive music in conversation with nature, place, audience, and the present moment. He composes live from scratch with electric violin, didgeridoo, voice, percussion, and looping, shaping each performance in real time. Depending on the context, the work may unfold as a concert, site-responsive sound art, or Sonic Flow.

Short Artist Bio

Markus Mars grew up in the Austrian Alps and began playing violin at age five. After classical training, his musical path expanded into world fusion, minimalism, jazz, electronic music, improvisation, and immersive sound art. Today, Markus creates live-composed concerts, site-responsive sound art, and Sonic Flow journeys that invite presence, curiosity, and deep listening.
